Orca 226 Lite Race Suit 2012

Orca’s 226 badge has become synonymous with the highest levels of performance, comfort and durability in endurance distance racing. Working with athletes of all levels Orca has developed the new 226 Lite Race Suit – the most lightweight and breathable race suit available - perfect for warm climate racing.

The 226 Lite Race Suit combines a mixture of innovative fabrics and construction techniques for uncompromised performance . The super lightweight Enduro-Lite fabric is used across the bottom of the suit providing unrestricted range of motion on your legs, and excellent breathability.

Enduro-Lite is hydrophobic, repelling water and is fast-drying. There is also a double thickness panel on the lower back for increased support.

Orca’s new Vapour-Cool fabric uses nano crystals embedded in the fibre to conduct heat away from the body, keeping you cool. Used on the chest area of the suit the cross-section yarn construction enhances moisture wicking and dries quickly. This highly breathable fabric also contains silver ions that are antibacterial and deodorizing, and anti-allergy, making it ideal for longer distance racing and use in hot conditions.
Wide gauge Tri-Enduro Mesh is used on the back panels for breathability and moisture management.

The latest generation 4mm Tri-tech Chamois has perforations to increase its quick dry qualities, and is anti-bacterial, making it more comfortable on the bike and run. There are two rear pockets with reflective trims for secure storage and visibility in low light conditions, and a new internal chest pocket. Hydroseal leg hems are low profile, comfortable and secure.
