Weights just one kilogram. It comes fully equipped for mountaineering duties. The Ultralight owes its one-kilogram weight to the materials the designers chose. The combination of 3D mesh and a highly robust surface mesh make the shoulder harness and hip belt wonderfully air-permeable. The hip belt and the inner frame can both be removed to cut the weight even further – to just 780 g. The Extreme Butterfly frame guarantees perfect load distribution and freedom of movement -especially handy in alpines.
This aluminum frame is inherently flexible and twistable,which helps distribute the forces involved, and the Mammut Extreme surface treatment provides super abrasion resistance.
The Extreme Ultralight is a backpack for mountaineers who appreciate low weight and top performance.
